Sushma Swaraj undergoing dialysis

Confirming reports of ill health, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj announced on Wednesday that she is undergoing treatment for kidney failure. The announcement shed light on the minister’s precise health issues, even as it put to rest months of speculation.

‘I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless,’ Ms Swaraj said in a health update, on her official Twitter handle.
