TRS MP offers land to Baba Ramdev
Sources have revealed that TRS leader and MP Kavitha has offered required land at affordable price to Baba Ramdev to set up food processing unit in her Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency. She has said her constituency is one of the highest producing Turmeric which is being used as raw material in making Ayurvedic medicines.
In a quick response, Patanjali CEO Acharya Balkrishna visited Nizamabad district of Telangana to explore the possibility of setting up a food processing unit.
Meanwhile Balkrishna, who had visited Lakkampally village near Nandipet in the Food Processing SEZ in the district, has said, he has surveyed the surrounding areas of Armoor, Balkonda and Nandipet. He felt the atmosphere in the region is very conducive to start a plant.
While Kavitha has said in a release that the state’s industrial policy facilitates approvals for industry in only 15 days, and food processing plant in the region will generate employment for a large number of people.
