United Technologies opens R&D centre in Hyderabad

United Technologies Corp today said it has opened a new Hyderabad research and design centre to enhance the company’s engineering innovation capabilities.

With engineering expertise in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems (HVAC), fire and security solutions, and elevators, the centre would also facilitate localisation of products, supporting the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the New York Stock Exchange-listed company said in a statement.
