M.K. Stalin elected as working president of DMK

DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin was unanimously elected as working president of the party by the general council on Wednesday.

Party president M. Karunanidhi could not attend general council meeting due to failing health. “At a time when our leader is not well I accept the position with a heavy heart,” Mr. Stalin said in his speech.
