Kannada actress Maria Susairaj arrested by Gujarat police

The Gujarat police arrested Kannada actress Maria Susairaj for allegedly committing fraud of Rs. 2.68 crore. The ex-model is accused of duping hajj pilgrims who had booked tickets from her agency.

According to the details, she had opened an air ticket agency in Vadodara, where many Hajj pilgrims had booked their tickets. However, after taking money from the pilgrims, she had allegedly cancelled all tickets and picketed Rs. 2.68 crore.

She was also involved in TV producer Niraj Grover murder case and was jailed. Subsequently, she was acquitted from the charge of murder but convicted for destruction of evidence.
