Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra, will discharge the functions of the Governor of Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah completed his five-year term today and he has not been given any extension as expected.
A communication from President’s Office stated that Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra, will discharge the functions of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Tamil Nadu are made vice K. Rosaiah, who completed his tenure on August 30.
It also said Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli will function as the Governor for Madhya Pradesh in addition to his own duties.
