Mastek appoints John Owen as Group CEO

Small-sized information technology firm Mastek has said it has appointed John Owen as its Group CEO with effect from November 1, 2016.

He replaces Sudhakar Ram who has been re-designated as vice-chairman and managing director of the company, Mastek said in a filing to the BSE.

Owen, who will be based in the UK, has played senior roles in sales and marketing in organisations like Serco, HP and Nortel over the last 25 years. In his last job at Serco, he was the sales and marketing director for the UK and Europe.
