Tejinder Gill to head Truecaller’s India operations

Truecaller has appointed Tejinder Gill as Vice President of sales and head of India operations, replacing Kari Krishnamurthy who will be moving to a new role at the company’s headquarters in Sweden.

Gill joined Truecaller two months ago from LinkedIn where he was part of the core team that launched the product in India in 2010.

India is the largest market for Truecaller, with 130-million consumers, and Gill will be focused on growing the business further.”India is a priority market for us, and I will be focused on improving the consumer experience, driving monetisation and growing True SDK (software development kit),” Gill told ET.
