Actor held for molesting estranged wife in Bandra

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, actor Khalid Siddiqui, 41, was arrested earlier this week by the Khar police after he had an altercation with his estranged wife Raahat. The incident occurred around 3 am on Wednesday outside the apartment of his ‘girlfriend’ in Bandra, where Siddiqui allegedly molested Raahat in front of the building’s watchmen.

Siddiqui was later granted bail by the Bandra court after he claimed there was no intention to outrage his wife’s modesty, and that despite their separation technically she was still his wife. According to the complaint filed by Raahat, who works as an interior designer, Siddiqui had not been taking care of their children and “abused and molested” her when she objected.
