Andhra Bank opens its 2600th branch in Hyderabad

Andhra Bank, an institution with presence across 26 States and three Union Territories, on Friday opened its 2600th branch and 3000th ATM.

Announcing this, the bank said 43 per cent of the branches are in semi-uban/rural areas and 231 of the branches are in unbanked rural centres. During the current fiscal, the bank added 100 branches and plans to add over 300 by March 2016.

Managing Director and CEO Satish Kumar Kalra e-launched the 2600th branch at Yadgirigutta and the 3000th ATM at Sunshine Hospital in Secunderabad.
