AP Congress to file cheating cases against Modi, Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Raghuveera Reddy on Wednesday said the Congress cadres would register cases against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister M. Venkiah Naidu and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for cheating the people of Andhra pradesh on the issues of special category status and non implementation of several other promises made to the people.
Speaking to reporters at Madakasira mandal headquarters village, Mr. Raghuveera Reddy said Mr. Narendra Modi, who had promised implementation of all provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 besides the promises made by the UPA II government on the floor of the parliament, had backtracked on their promise completely.
“The Union government is not even inclined to give special package to the four districts of Rayalaseema and the three districts of the North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, let alone give the special category status to the State”, said Mr Raghuveera Reddy.
