AP wins ball badminton men’s championship

Andhra Pradesh emerged champions of the TPRVK Tulasidas Memorial Fourth Ball Badminton Federation Cup Championship in men’s category here on Sunday.

In men’s category, Maharashtra became the runners of the championship while Telangana and Tamil Nadu secured third and fourth places. The Krishna District Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the Machilipatnam Ball Badminton Association has conducted the three-day championship on the District Police Grounds.

In women’s category, Karnataka lifts the championship while Tamil Nadu and Kerala stood second and third places respectively.

Andhra Pradesh secured fourth place. Krishna district TDP resident B. Arjunudu presented the trophy to the winners during the prize distribution programme.

Chief Referee S.G. Jyotish, Machilipatnam Municipal Chairman M. Baba Prasad congratulated the winners.

Championship Referee Board Chairman M.V.N. Raju and other senior players were also present.
