APPSC to issue notification before September 30 for filling up of 4,009 posts
Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission (APPSC) Chairman Prof.P.Uday Bhaskar said that a notification will be issued before September 30 for filling up of 4,009 vacant posts.
Speaking to press on Wednesday, he said that the test will be conducted through online for the first time. The unfilled posts in the earlier notifications will be included in the current notification, he said. The APPSC has already issued notification for filling up 400 AE posts and a notification will be issued for 748 AEE posts shortly. The GO issued for relaxation of six years will expire by September 30 and as such the 40 years age limit will be applicable to all the notifications issued before that date. In case of any delay, the APPSC would request the government for relaxation of age.
For conducting online examinations, the APPSC has entered a MoU with AP Online. The APPSC expects that over 50,000 candidates may compete for Group I, II, III and IV posts. Screening tests will be conducted and those come out with flying colors will be allowed to online tests. The screening tests will be held in the ratio of 1:50, he said. The draft syllabus has been posted on the official website, he said.
