Demonetised notes worth ₹90 lakh seized in Chennai

Demonetised currency notes valued at ₹90 lakh were recovered from two persons, who have been arrested, police said on Sunday.

Mohammed Rishad and Subeir were arrested on Sunday from the Koyambedu bus terminus based on information, police said.

They were found carrying the now demonetised high value currency of ₹500 and ₹1000, police said adding a case has been filed against them.
