Dhanush’s wife Aishwaryaa gets trolled after her dance performance video at UN goes viral

Aishwaryaa R Dhanush, Superstar Rajnikanth’s daughter recently performed at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the International Women’s Day. However, the Internet wasn’t much happy with her performance.

As soon as a small clip of Aishwaryaa performing a Bharatnatyam recital went viral, she was at the receiving end of trolls. A few dance experts also expressed their disappointment over the video.

An acclaimed Indian classical and contemporary dancer, Anita Ratnam while talking to a news portal said that there was no footwork from Aishwaryaa and her postures were terrible.

“That’s not how a Bharatnatyam recital takes place. The whole song is basically unutilised. If you notice, she is neither dancing to lyrics nor to the bol. From the lack of grace, it is very evident that she is not a dancer,” Anita Ratnam added.

She further went on to say that considering how she [Aishwaryaa] is performing worse than a beginner in Bharatnatyam, she shouldn’t have been on stage in the first place, leave alone at the UN. “I think it’s very disgraceful,” concluded Anita Ratnam.

Aishwaryaa is also the Goodwill Ambassador For Women to promote gender equality in India.
