Governor invites Edappadi Palaniswami to form govt.

Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao on Thursday invited AIADMK legislature party leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami to form the government in Tamil Nadu.

A statement from the Raj Bhavan said, Hon’be Governor has requested the Chief Minister-designate, Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami to seek the vote of confidence of the Assembly within 15 days.

He will be sworn in at 4 p.m.
