Jayendra Saraswathi hospitalised

Kanchi Kama Koti Mutt’s Swami Jayendra Saraswathi, who suffered illness on Tuesday has been admitted to a private hospital here. He is being kept in the Intensive Care Unit.

According to sources, Jayendra Saraswathi fell sick and his disciples admitted him to a hospital. He and was kept on ventilator. The Peetadipathi was suffering from low sugar levels and respiratory problem.

A team of five doctors were attending him. His condition is said to be stable, said the hospital authorities.

Swami Jayendra Saraswathi attended the launch of Krishna Pushkaram at Durga Ghat, and he along with his disciples performed special puja to the River God and Goddess Kanakadurga in Krishna River.
