Kerala State Haj Committee Chairman and Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama joint secretary Kottumala Bapu Musliar passed away

Kerala State Haj Committee Chairman and Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama joint secretary Kottumala Bapu Musliar, 65, died at a private hospital at Kozhikode on Tuesday.

A member of the Samastha Mushawara, Bapu Musliar was general secretary of the Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidyabhyasa Board and president of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Mufathisheen.

He was ailing for the past few weeks.He had become chairman of the Haj Committee in 2012. The funeral will take place at Kottumala near Vengara on Wednesday.
