Nawaz Sharif assures PM Modi of Pakistan’s support in Pathankot probe

Nawaz Sharif called Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and assured him of Pakistan’s support in Pathankot investigations.

The Pakistan PM called Narendra Modi from Sri Lanka at 3.30pm. He condemned the Pathankot attack and told PM Modi that Pakistan will stand by India in fighting terror.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared with him India’s angst over Pathankot terror attack. On Monday, NSA Ajit Doval had shared ‘leads’ with his Pak counterpart and sought credible action on them. Pakistan foreign office in a statement released on Monday had said that it is working on the leads shared by India.
