Pelli Chooplu Crossed Quarter Million Dollars

Small film big hit! “Pelli Choopulu” has grossed more than quarter million dollars in the first weekend. The film has grossed around $260k so far, some more locations are yet to be added. So the overall figure will also be slightly increased.

Directed by Tarun Bhascker, “Pelli Choopulu” grossed such massive figure thanks to great reviews it has received from critics and positive word-of-mouth. The performance of lead actors Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma is also getting great appreciation.

“Pelli Choopulu” has novelty in storytelling and directors like Rajamouli also appreciated the movie. The film was bought for so low amount and the distributors are now in huge profits.

On the other hand, Sunil’s “Jakkanna” has failed to post any good numbers. By end of the first weekend, the movie has grossed less than $ 2000. All Sunil’s recent movies were duds in USA market.
