‘Sairat’ star Rinku Rajguru appears for 10th class exam

Rinku Rajguru, who gained nationwide fame for her portrayal of ‘Archi’, the female lead in blockbuster ‘Sairat’, on Tuesday appeared for her 10th class exam.

“I covered the syllabus in just over a month of study,” she told reporters before reaching the exam centre in Solapur district, as the SSC (10th class) exams began in Maharashtra today. Altogether 17.66 lakh students are appearing for the exams.

“The transition from ‘lights, camera, action’ to ‘physics, chemistry, maths’ was not difficult. The one and a half month period I got for studies was enough,” she added. In June last year, Rinku had attended her school at Akluj in Solapur district, after being away from home since the film released to a rousing reception last year, attending promotional and celebration events and appearing on popular TV shows.
