Three year old girl sexually abused by 55 year old neighbour in Boisar

A three-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her 55-year-old neighbour in Boisar on Thursday. The accused has been arrested.

At around 3 pm, the accused called the child to his room. He gave the child tea to drink. While she was having the tea, he locked the main door and raped her. The child got home crying and that is when her mother, who works as a house help, learnt about the incident.

The Boisar police has arrested the accused and charged him with rape (IPC section 376 (2) (f). He has been booked under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The victim is under medical observation.
