Vesnina reaches first Grand Slam semi-final

Elena Vesnina is through to her first Grand Slam singles semi-final after routing a weary Dominika Cibulkova 6-2, 6-2 on No.1 Court.

“It feels amazing,” Vesnina said. “I still can’t believe I won this match – whatever the score, it was an intense match. I held the same level for the whole game, and I’m just so happy.”
