23 dead, 20 injured in Kabul twin blasts
Twin explosions were heard near the Afghan Parliament in Kabul on Tuesday and the interior ministry said there could be scores of casualties in the latest terror attack.
23 people have been killed and more than 20 have been injured, according to Reuters.
At least one of the blasts was apparently caused by a car bomb, ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said.
“They targeted employees of Parliament, there have been casualties,” a second security source said.
The Afghan Taliban has claimed responsibility for the twin blasts, which they said had killed or wounded scores of people, Reuters reported.
