Corning India appoints Amit Bansal as MD

Corning India today elevated Amit Bansal as its new managing director. Bansal will be based in Gurugram and will spearhead the company’s growth and operations while contributing to strategic planning.

Bansal has also been appointed to the Corning Finolex board of directors.

“Bansal has been an integral part of Corning India and has contributed to the growth over the past several years,” said Thomas Appelt, president of Corning International emerging markets on the appointment. “India is one of our priority markets and we aim to expand our business and deepen our business engagement in the core sector,” he added.
