Upul Tharanga named captain for South Africa ODIs

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), on Tuesday (January 24), announced that Upul Tharanga, the 31-year-old opener, will captain the national side for the forthcoming five-match One-Day International (ODI) series against South Africa commencing on Wednesday (January 25) in Port Elizabeth.

Tharanga had previously captained Sri Lanka in five ODIs, leading the side to three victories.
