AAP appoints Gopal Rai as new Delhi Convenor
Delhi’s Development Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Mr. Gopal Rai, has been appointed as the new Delhi convenor of the party. The decision was made a day after Mr. Dilip Pandey resigned from the position, taking responsibility for the party’s poor performance in the municipal elections.
Mr. Rai was handed over the new position on Thursday, in a meeting of legislators at Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.
