Shashikanth replaces Arunkumar as Karnataka coach

PV Shashikanth, the former Karnataka batsman, has been appointed as the new head coach of the state side, the Karnataka State Cricket Association announced. While Shashikanth will replace J Arunkumar, KSCA have also appointed former batsman GK Anil Kumar as the new assistant coach in place of Mansur Ali Khan.

“They (Shashikanth and Anil Kumar) have been coaches of various age groups of the state for more than a decade,” KSCA said in the press release on Wednesday (April 26). “The KSCA also acknowledges the contribution of the former coaches Mr J Arun Kumar and Mansoor Ali Khan for their stint as coaches of the senior state team for the last five seasons.”
