Sunil Subramaniam appointed Team India manager

Sunil Subramaniam, who once coached India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been appointed manager of the Indian cricket team currently touring Sri Lanka.

“He will join the Indian team in Sri Lanka before the second Test which begins in Colombo on August 3,” a BCCI source said.

Subramaniam, a successful left-arm spinner for Tamil Nadu, has been appointed for one year. Subramaniam was in Mumbai for BCCI’s manager’s interview recently where CoA member Diana Eduljee was present and acting president CK Khanna joined them via Skype.
