CBI to probe ‘leak’ of questions of Staff Selection Commission exam

The Union government has ordered a CBI investigation into the alleged leak of questions of an examination of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) held last month, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday.

The order came a day after the SSC, which conducts the examination for subordinate services, recommended a CBI inquiry into the allegation of leak of questions of the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination 2017 held from February 17 to 22.

“We have accepted the demands of the protesting candidates and ordered a CBI inquiry. The protest should stop now,” Mr. Singh told reporters in New Delhi.
