Kate Winslet bags her 4th Golden Globe
Kate Winslet’s performance in ‘Steve Jobs’ has bagged her the award for Best Performance by an actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture at the 2016 Golden Globes.
The 40-year-old actress beat ‘Ex Machina’s’ Alicia Vikander, ‘Youth’s’ Jane Fonda, ‘The Hateful Eight’s’ Jennifer Jason Leigh and ‘Trumbo’s’ Helen Mirren to win the award, reports E! Online.
This is Winslet’s fourth Golden Globe; back in 2009 Kate took home her first two awards when she won for both Best Supporting and Best Actress.
When she got on stage, the actress revealed that she was extremely surprised and overwhelmed to win the award.
After thanking a number of people Winslet gave a shout-out to her husband, Ned Rocknroll, who she called “my everything” and said he makes it “all possible.”
