Government announced awards Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri on the eve of the Republic day

The government announced the list of awardees of civilian gallantary awards Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri on the eve of the Republic day.

Actor Rajinikanth, media baron Ramoji Rao, former J&K Governor Jagmohan and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan.

Reliance Industries founder Dhirubhai Ambani will be posthumously awarded Padma Vibhushan.

Yamini Krishnamurthy and Girija Devi will be awarded Padma Vibhushan in classical dance category.

Former CAG Vinod Rai, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and singer Udit Narayan will be awarded Padma Bhushan.

Former US Ambassador to India Robert D Blackwill, sportspersons Saina Nehwal and Sania Mirza and Indu Jain of Bennett, Coleman & Co, will get Padma Bhushan.

Senior lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, actors Ajay Devgn and Priyanka Chopra, Bahubali director S.S. Rajamouli and Bhojpuri singer Malini Awasthi will be awarded Padma Shri.

Predrag K. Nikic (Siberia) and Hui Lan Zhang (China) get Padma Shri for Yoga.
