LG Stylus 2 launched in India at Rs 20,500
LG has launched its Stylus 2 smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs 20,500. The smartphone, which got unveiled in February at MWC 2016, has got listed on the company’s India website.
LG Stylus 2 is a dual-SIM supporting handset that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box along with its LG UI 5.0. The device features a 5.7-inch HD resolution display with In-Cell touch technology. Under-the-hood, the Stylus 2 is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB RAM. The smartphone sports 13MP autofocus CMOS rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
The camera can record videos in Full HD resolution with 30fps frame rate. It houses 16GB of inbuilt storage, out of which users receive 10.7GB of free space. The inbuilt storage can be expanded up to 2TB via MicroSD card. The 4G LTE supporting smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh Li-ion battery and will be hitting the shelves in two colour variants, Brown and Titanium. It measures 155×79.6×7.4mm and weighs 145 gram. LG Stylus 2 comes with a stylus with a nano-coated tip for better accuracy.
Similar to SamsungGalaxy Note 5, the LG Stylus 2 also shows a popup menu when the stylus is removed. The popup menu shows options to access pop scanner, pop menu and more. In addition, users also get the ability to start writing notes by pulling out the stylus even without turning on the handset. LG last month launched its LG K10 and LG K7 smartphones in India priced at Rs 13,500 and Rs 9,500 respectively. Both the smartphones support 4G LTE connectivity and feature the iconic glossy pebble design. The duo was announced at CES 2016 conference in January this year.
