Railway Minister launches grievance redressal website for employees

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Thursday launched ‘Nivaran’ portal, an online system for redressal of service-related grievances of serving and former Railway employees.

Speaking on the occasion,Prabhu said it was a new system which would also be launched in regional languages.

“The external grievance redressal portal is successful because of the work of railways employees. Today we are launching the portal for the grievance redressal of current and former railways employees. In the future we will launch this portal in regional languages also,” he said.

“Highest controlling authorities shall also be able to monitor the progress of grievance redressal by field offices,” an official statement from the ministry said.
