Guntur swimmer wins three gold medals

T. Surekha, 22, has won three gold medals in the recently held Sanjeev Reddy Memorial swimming competitions here at NTR municipal swimming pool.

The national medal winning swimmer has won three gold medals, 50 metres freestyle, 60 metres breaststroke and 100 metres breaststroke in the State-level competitions. AP State Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari congratulated the swimmer on her achievement.

Earlier, she had won gold medals in South Zone Swimming Championship at Chennai.

Her parents, T. Kamalakara Rao is a medical officer and her mother Lakshmi is a homemaker.
