India lost two wickets in quick succession in the first innings of the second Test match against Sri Lanka on Thursday.
Opener Murali Vijay was bowled out for a duck in the first over, while No. 3 batsman Ajinkya Rahana went for four. Both wickets were bagged by Dhammika Prasad.
Earlier, captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first.
India made three changes to their playing eleven, brining in Murali Vijay, Stuart Binny and Umesh Yadav in place of injured Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh and Varun Aaron.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka made just one change replacing injured Nuwan Pradeep with Dushmantha Chameera.
