Nanduri Sambasiva Rao is the new Police Boss in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh State Government has decided to appoint N.Sambasiva Rao as the Director General of Police following the retirement of DGP J.V.Ramudu on July 23.

Sambasiva Rao, an IPS officer of 1984 batch is currently working as the Managing Director of APSRTC.

The government has promoted five senior IPS officers as DGP cadre. The promoted are VSK Kaumadi, RP Takhur, Vinay Ranjan Ray, D.Gautam Sawang along with Sambasiva Rao
