Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son hospitalised in Belgium
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s elder son, Rakesh, who has fallen ill while on a tour of Europe, has been hospitalised in the University Hospital Brussels in Belgium.
Mr. Siddaramaiah, who told reporters here on Wednesday that his son’s condition was “critical but stable”, is leaving for Belgium by an early morning flight on Thursday.
“He is undergoing treatment in the University Hospital Brussels. I have spoken to the doctors and they have told me he is critical but stable. I will go there by a 4.30 a.m. flight on Thursday,” he said.
The Chief Minister’s wife, his younger son Yathindra Siddaramaiah, and the family doctor Ravi Kumar have already left for Belgium.
