Actor Dileep’s bail plea rejected again
The Kerala High Court on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of actor Dileep for the second time in the case relating to the sexual assault on woman actor.
The actor in his bail petition contended that he was totally innocent and that he had been falsely implicated in the case as part of a larger conspiracy by a powerful section in the film industry with a view to oust him from the field.
Dileep alleged that he was arrested in the case on the basis of the confession of prime accused ‘Pulsar’ Suni. The petitioner had never seen or heard, or spoken with Suni.
The confession was a fabricated one to destroy his film career. Besides, the defacto complainant victim actor had never raised any allegation against him. The allegation of the police that the crime was committed in furtherance of a conspiracy hatched in 2013 was false, he argued.
