Afghanistan to tour Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series in September
Afghanistan will travel to Bangladesh for a three-match One-Day International series in September, the cricket boards of the two countries confirmed on Sunday (August 28). The tour with games scheduled for September 25, 28 and October 1 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium will see the associate nation play a bilateral series against a non-Zimbabwe full-member side for the first time.
“We are looking forward to some entertaining cricket,” Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman Nasimullah Danish said. “We are in close discussion with ICC Full Members.
It’s always good for our team development to test ourselves in different conditions, and there’s no better place than Bangladesh to do that.”
