‘Anna gnana samaradhana’ to be launched on July 17

Popular Sanskrit and Telugu scholar Salaka Raghunatha Sarma has announced that he is going to launch ‘Anna Gnana Samaradhana’ from July 17 on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

Mr. Sarma told the media on Thursday that he wanted to donate part of his pension, honorariums from spiritual lectures and other publications to the programme.

He said that he had been donating to many charitable institutions in Sringeri, Varanasi and other places in the country for ‘Annadanam’ and providing aid for poor students for their studies.

Senior Sanskrit scholar and his guru Jatavallabhula Jagannatham will be felicitated on the occasion, Mr. Sarma said.
