Anushka Sharma’s next production titled Phillauri

After NH10, Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Films has now tied up with Fox Star Studios for their next production titled Phillauri. The film is said to be a comedy starring Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma along with Anushka Sharma.

Though the actress did not divulge too many details about the plot, she maintained that this film filled with humour, fun and drama. She further also added that this film is comprised of three important things 100 years, a crazy Punjabi wedding and rank strangers but did not elaborate on it. While Anushka starred as the leading lady in her previous production NH10 too, Diljit Dosanjh is making his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab. On the other hand, Suraj Sharma gained fame with the Indo-American film Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee.

Set in Punjab and directed by debutant Anshai Lala, Phillauri is slated to go on floor April this year.
