Aravinda De Silva steps down from SLC’s Cricket Committee

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) suffered a massive blow on Thursday (May 4) after former captain Aravinda de Silva stepped down from the board’s Cricket Committee. SLC sources told Cricbuzz that de Silva (51) handed over his letter of resignation to the board Thursday afternoon.

De Silva was not available for comments, but sources said that he was unhappy with SLC taking major policy decisions without consulting the committee.
