Arjun Kapoor turns basketball player

Arjun Kapoor plays a national-level basketball player, Madhav Jha, in Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’. The film, which sees the actor romancing Shraddha Kapoor for the first time, goes on floors in the Capital today. Arjun has been training with an international basketball team to learn the moves of the game.

Given the director’s track record of successful films, there are a lot of expectations from this one. And that’s not all. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-seller by the same name and all his previous film adaptations have done phenomenally well at the box office; ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Kai Po Che’ and ‘2 States’ to name a few.

The movie will be shot around the world — Patna, Delhi, Rajasthan, Cape Town and New York and the first schedule begins tomorrow. Even as reports of Bihar royals creating trouble for the film makes news, the makers remain unperturbed and all set to enjoy the experience of this film.
