BCCI files official complaint with ICC on DRS Controversy

BCCI, on Thursday (March 9), filed an official complaint with the ICC against Steve Smith and Peter Handscomb in relation to the DRS controversy that has erupted in the aftermath of the Bengaluru Test.

BCCI’s action comes in the wake of the governing body of the sport opting against levying any charges against players involved in the DRS fracas under its Code of Conduct.

BCCI CEO Rahul Johri is understood to have made the complaint on Thursday afternoon, within 48 hours of the incident as per ICC’s guidelines. The complaint pertains to a Level 2 breach for acting against the Spirit of Cricket.
