Deepa Jayakumar, niece of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, on Friday formally launched ‘MGR Amma Deepa Peravai’, signalling her entry into Tamil Nadu politics. “My journey in politics begins today,” she said, unveiling the party flag.
