Congress worker shot at by militants in Kashmir

Militants shot at and injured a Congress worker in Bandipora district of Kashmir on Tuesday night, police said.

The militants shot Baahir Ahmad Shiekh (40) inside his residence at Ashtengoo at around 7.30 p.m., a police official said.

He said Shiekh was rushed to a local hospital where the doctors referred him to a hospital here for better treatment.
