CSA announces dates for NZ, England tours
South Africa will tour New Zealand for three Tests, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and one Twenty20 International (T20I) early next year. The tour begins with a T20I at Eden Park, Auckland on Feb 17, 2017 and will then see five ODIs being played at Hamilton, Christchurch, Wellington, Napier and Auckland respectively.
The Test series will kick off on March 8, with the University Oval, Dunedin hosting the inaugural game. The series will then move to Wellington before being wrapped up in Hamilton.
Later in the year, South Africa will pay a visit to England, where they are scheduled to play three ODIs against the hosts in May. The ODIs will be played at Headlingly (24 May), Ageas Bowl (27 May) and Lord’s (29 May). This will be followed by the ICC Champions Trophy tournament, also to be played in Britain, in the first half of June.
After the Champions trophy, South Africa will then play three T20 International matches against England in the second half of June followed by the four-match Test series in July and August.
