India Open Super Series: Sindhu beats Saina to enter semis

PV Sindhu defeated Saina Nehwal in a fiercely contested women singles quarter-final of the 2017 India Open Super Series.

India’s two leading shuttlers up against each other at an international event – only the second time at this level. However, Sindhu engaged Saina in engaging dribble game to chalk out a 21-16, 22-20 win in straight games and enter the semi-finals.
