Kejriwal, Sisodia among 15 named in charge sheet in Delhi Chief Secretary ‘assault’ case
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 13 others have been named accused in a case of alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in February.
The Delhi Police on Monday filed the charge sheet before a court.
The final report was filed before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal, who put up the matter for consideration on August 25.
The police on May 18 questioned Mr. Kejriwal for over three hours.
Mr. Prakash was allegedly assaulted during a meeting at Mr. Kejriwal’s official residence on February 19. The police said the Chief Minister was present when the incident took place.
The police have questioned 11 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs present at the Chief Minister’s residence that time. Two of them – Amantullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal – have been arrested.
